Veteran interior designer Clara Diaz Volpe’s visualization makes full advantage of esthetics and functionality with always with beauty and affordability.
With more than 30 years’ experience in residential and commercial projects in the San Francisco Bay Area, in Florida and overseas, Clara has devoted most of her career at Flegel’s. (Clara also designed the Miami offices of US Customs, the Miami Heat NBA team and, in 2016, the Caribbean branch of Swiss watchmaker Breitling. Notably, in the Eighties Clara worked with set designers on the TV series Miami Vice.
A native of Bogotá, Clara earned her bachelor’s in psychology in Colombia and in Florida graduated with Honors with an Interior Design degree. Specializing in space planning and color coordination, Clara shines in the area of fabric selection and in making sure the furniture clients want fits the space, often rearranging clients’ existing furniture as a first step. “Only then can we follow the best approach to the plan” explains Clara. “Working closely together results in the right furniture and accessories arranged functionally, affordably and beautifully.”
“I consider clients friends and really listen to what they say” she says. “I give love and passion to everything in life, including design projects.” Clara works within any project’s scope and budget.
